(Short violin intro)
Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what dimension my suspension was
in
I woke up this mornin' with my anger kicking in
I left my Prozac in a brown paper bag within
I left the dugout and walked on the grass
I knocked that camera guy on his ass
I just dropped in to see what dimension my suspension was in
Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what dimension my suspension was in
I pushed the man from the TV van because he would give in
My team will soon fall out 'cause I made their roster thin
I got no excuse, it would be so lame
And Bud the Boob said "Twenty games"
I just dropped in to see what dimension my suspension was in
(Guitar interlude)
Yeah, yeah, oh-yeah, what dimension my suspension was in
Some guys on sports talk said that I should get a month or two
When guys get in my face I show them what I do
Eight miles from Dallas and that's what they found
They look at me and end up on the ground
I just dropped in to see what dimension my suspension was in
I said I just dropped in to see what dimension my suspension was in
(Slowly and with feeling:)
Yeah yeah oh-yeah
(ending with guitar, xylophone and drum cacophony)
July 2, 2005: Kenny Rogers was recently suspended for a couple of on-field incidents involving TV cameramen. So I took the song that he recorded with the First Edition in the late 1960's and updated it to reflect his current circumstances. Oh, wait a minute. That was a different Kenny Rogers.
